About this Board

Hi All,

This is a place where you can get your papers, technical reports and software reviewed by other members of this forum. External reviews, I am sure you know, are crucial feedback mechanisms for ensuring quality of your work.

In order to place your paper or software for review, please start a new post and include the following details:

1. Your name, address and affiliation
2. Title and a brief abstract or summary of what you are putting for review
3. A review form if you have one
4. A license agreement specifying how the reviewer may use your paper or software

For item #4, I suggest you look through Creative Commons (http://creativecommons.org/) to find a suitable license structure. I personally use Attribution, Non-commercial, Share-alike (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/legalcode) for my creations. That means, the reviewer is free to use and create derivative works, as long as the original idea is attributed to me and it is used for non-commercial purposes and it is distributed with the same agreement. You are of course free to use any other agreement for your works.

Please note that this is a completely voluntary activity. There is no remuneration of any kind to the reviewers for their work. The reviewers may of course use the paper or software that they review, based on the terms of the license agreement. Authors and reviewers are solely responsible for their actions. This forum only facilitates critical reviews, and does not endorse the actions of any author or reviewer.

Important: If you are a student, don't put up your papers for review without your adviser's knowledge and consent!! And if you are working, please ensure that you are not violating any of your official policies in putting up your work for external review!!

The review itself has to be done offline. Potential reviewers may indicate their interest for reviewing your work on this post. But don't upload your actual paper or link to your software on the board. Mail it to the reviewers separately.

Just our small effort to collectively create and enable quality and dissemination of ideas..
