Recently we tried to find a spot for digging a bore well in our farm. We hired a geologist to do that. He used a strange technique to determine the location.He took a pealed coconut in his palm and walked around the farm.Suddenly at one point the coconut which was horizontal stood erect in his outstreched palm.This kind of surprised me and I decided to try it on my own. I got repeatable result at exctly the same spot.However it did not work for my dad or my mom.I tried googling on this subject and found precious little to explain the phenomena.Does any one one know what is the scientific reason for it.What force acted on the coconut and made it stand erect? Why was it selective in its action as though some people are conductors of the force flux while others are not.
Also we did find water in that particular spot
