Here are some general (more or less arbitrary) guidelines for posting in this forum. These guidelines will be updated from time to time so be sure check back regularly.
If you find anyone not adhering to these, it is best to politely point them here.
- Don't use SMS lngo.
- Don't use l337.
- Don't SHOUT.
- Don't use obscure acronyms. However, you are expected to be familiar with some of the more common ones:
- BTW: By The Way
- AFAIK: As Far As I Know
- IIRC: If I Recall Correctly
- IMHO: In My Honest Opinion
- OTOH: On The Other Hand
- RTFM: Read the Friggin' Manual
It would also help if you learn to separate the
Idea and Person.
